Overview
The Canada-Wide Science Fair is the largest extra-curricular youth activity related to science and technology in Canada, gathering our best young minds together. Each year, some 450 top young scientists are chosen to compete from the top ranks of about 25,000 competitors at nearly 100 regional science fairs across the country.
At the Canada-Wide Science Fair, EnviroExpo takes the form of the Environmental Innovation division. The EI division challenges you to concentrate your project on solving an environmental problem. Projects must also incorporate an element of art to enhance the communication of the science.
Prizing
Projects can enter the Environmental Innovation division at all three age levels – junior, intermediate and senior. In addition to division cash awards ($100 Honourable Mention; $300 Bronze; $700 Silver and $1,500 for Gold medalists), the gold medal winners of the EI division in each age category will win a $10,000 scholarship!
The scholarship rules for EI division winners can be found here.
